The help that comes with being our client

We are compensated by the carriers, not by you — your premium is identical whether you enroll through us or on your own. Everything on this page is included at no extra cost, and none of it is limited to the weeks around Open Enrollment.

What to expect

What is included, and why it is free

Premiums for insurance products are filed with the state. An agent cannot mark them up, which means our support costs you nothing.

Before you enroll

Benefit comparisons across carriers, provider network verification so you know your doctors are covered, and prescription cost reviews against each plan formulary.

While you enroll

ACA enrollment assistance, Medicare education, and hands-on enrollment support — including the paperwork, the deadlines and the parts people most often get wrong.

After you enroll

Free coverage reviews and annual plan checkups. Plans change every year, and the plan that fit you last year is often not the one that fits you now.

A review costs you nothing but a conversation

Most people never have their coverage looked at again after they buy it. A review takes a short call and frequently turns up a cheaper plan, a missing subsidy, or a prescription sitting on the wrong tier.

No obligation, and no pressure to switch if what you have is already right.

Plan types

How our support works

Three stages, covering the whole life of a policy rather than just the sale.

Research and comparison

We compare benefits across the carriers we work with, verify that your doctors and hospital are in network, and check what each plan would charge for the prescriptions you actually take. These three checks account for most of the regret people have about a plan they chose alone.

Enrollment and education

Help completing ACA Marketplace applications, education on how Medicare works and what your options are, and support through the enrollment itself. Deadlines and qualifying events are where coverage gets lost — we track them with you.

Ongoing reviews

A free coverage review whenever your circumstances change, and an annual plan checkup before each new plan year. Carriers adjust networks, formularies and pricing every year, and the checkup is how you find out before it costs you.
Side by side

Enrolling alone, or with an agent

The premium is the same either way. What differs is what gets checked before you commit.

Common questions

Yes. Insurance premiums are filed with the state and an agent cannot add to them, so you pay the same whether you enroll through us or by yourself. We are compensated by the carrier when you enroll, which is what funds the support.

These services are included for our clients. If you hold a policy elsewhere and want a second opinion, ask us — we are happy to look, and we will tell you if what you already have is the better plan.

A short conversation about what you hold, what changed, and whether it still fits. We look at premium, deductible, network and prescriptions together rather than the monthly figure alone. Most reviews end with no change recommended, which is a useful answer too.

Yes, and it is worth asking before you enroll rather than after. Networks change between plan years, and a doctor who was in network last year is not guaranteed to be in network now — even on the same plan from the same carrier.

Yes. We check what you take against each plan formulary, since the same drug can sit on a different tier from one plan to the next. For anyone on regular medication this often matters more to annual cost than the premium does.

Call us. We can help you understand what the carrier has decided and what your options are. We cannot overturn a carrier decision, but we can make sure you are not accepting one you should be appealing.

Tell us what you hold today, which doctors matter to you and what you take regularly. We will review it and tell you plainly whether you are already in the right place.
